Great winter/lite-gravel tires for my Cherohala

Got the tan/blue 700x38 version and have ridden about 50 miles on them…

Using them as a second set of gravel/winter wheel sets on my Litespeed Cherohala. My other set is a deep aero rim (FDWD).

They went on relatively easily. Could not seat them with a hand pump and needed to go to my LBS where they used a compressor.

Ride quality is just what I wanted for off season.. smoooooth. Are they fast? No. Comfy? Yes! Really stable on light gravel and quite (enough) on tarmac.

Great Tire For Road + Gravel in the Catskills

I put the original tread Astral Blue Gravelking 700 x 32 on my Boone cx bike, and found them to be a great tire for exploring pavement, climbing gravel roads from the Cross Mountain Crusher, and even tackling some hardscrabble loose and rocky double tracks in the area.
