Yay! Finally in 43!

I've been ranting to my friends for years about how all I want is some gravelking slicks in 43. Well now they make them and I bought them and I am happy! They mounted tubeless easily and they roll smoothly.

Its Early But So Far Superb

I put these tires on an electric bike I bought for my brother as he has an aversion to pumping
up his tires and I wanted a bigger tire without the weight penalty that came with the very heavy
OEM 700 x 38 tire and now he has a much lighter 700 x 43 tire. He couldn't believe how fast
the bike was and yet is floating on big air. This is a great tire to replace the typically very
heavy tires that come with e-bikes or anybody that wants to go fast on multiple hard surfaces
and wants the smooth ride characteristics of a big air 43 mm tire.

Seriously incredible tires

As a commuter/light adventurer, these are by far my favorite tires I’ve had. Fast on pavement, forgiving on rough streets, and handle everything else I throw at them with aplomb—light gravel, slush, freezing rain, crunchy ice. Excellent all-arounders.

Really Enjoy These Slicks

I’m about 100 miles in so not thoroughly sold. First, I did 50 mile group ride on tarmac. The 35 SSs felt pretty fast with my compadres riding skinnier tires.

Next was a 50 mile gravel race. I was not gliding on the gravel the same way my Maxxis Rambler 45s did, but they still felt robust on the gravel roads. This was on Central Texas Gravel roads, not single track to put things in perspective. Since the race was 50/50 gravel and tarmac, the other tarmac half went really smooth.

I’m really happy with these tires so far!
